After shopping the designer boutiques on Monte Carlo’s Carré d’Or and Cannes’ Promenade de la Croisette, sail for the sandy beaches of L’Île Rousse on the scenic shores of Corsica. During two days in Tuscany, explore from Florence to Pisa and all of the vineyards and olive groves in between. Then take in views of the colorful towns of Portofino and Portoferraio from hilltop castles overlooking the harbors.

During two days in Croatia, be sure to try the famous Adriatic oysters and the excellent local wines while exploring the walled Old Towns of Zadar and Dubrovnik — each city also has their own unique culinary specialties. A good place to begin your exploration of this maritime city would be Plymouth Hoe, a scenic promenade offering panoramic views of the sound. Climb the iconic lighthouse known as Smeaton’s Tower for a perspective on the scenery from above before exploring the nearby Royal Citadel, a 17th-century fortress. A pleasant stroll takes you to the Barbican district, Plymouth’s historic quarter, where you’ll find charming shops, art galleries and seafood restaurants as well as the Mayflower Steps commemorating the departure of the Pilgrims for the New World in 1620.
