Experience Montenegro’s rich cultural heritage around the Bay of Kotor on this diverse tour. It’s a short, scenic drive along the waterfront from Kotor to Perast, a tiny, historic town that flourished under Venetian rule. Take a walk along the narrow streets with your guide who will highlight local history and the many once-grand Baroque palazzi and churches that still stand here, and take you inside the never-completed Cathedral of St. Nicholas. Just off Perast’s shores is the unique church and religious monument, Our Lady of the Rocks. Over many years, local sailors marked their safe return by placing a rock in the bay, eventually forming a tiny islet on which a church was then built. A boat will transport you here. Enjoy a glass of champagne at sunset with views of surrounding cliffs and cobalt seas before going inside the art-filled church for an exclusive guitar concert. Your maritime transport then whisks you a bit further down the bay to another small town, Morinj, historically a center of grain and olive processing. Looking to both preserve rural traditions, Lazar Ćatović restored the old mill and house that had been in his family for more than 200 years, turning them into a welcoming tavern. Traditional Montenegrin hospitality is part of the delicious, four-course meal featuring fish and seafood specialties and local wines. After the dinner, ground transportation will be waiting to bring you back to the yacht.
Historic art and architecture, delicious cuisine, and an exclusive concert make for an immersive exploration around the Bay of Kotor.
