Experience the rugged beauty of Catalonia’s Costa Brava sailing aboard a “llagut,” a traditional Catalan fishing vessel. The Sant Isidre was built on Mallorca in 1925 and later acquired by the Navy of the Spanish Republic. Abandoned in the 1990s, it has been restored by a master boat builder and is now used for private charters. Relax onboard and enjoy the views on the leisurely sail through the Gulf of Roses and around the peninsula of the Cap de Creus. A protected national park, the Cap is renowned for its pristine, wild landscapes, and stunning shoreline of many secluded coves, known as calas in Catalan, where rugged cliffs overlook beaches of fine white sand and clear, clean waters. The captain will drop anchor (CK) so you can go for a swim, go snorkel or just stretch out on deck in the sun. A selection of Catalan tapas will be served onboard, accompanied by your choice of beer, wine (including sparkling cava), and non-alcoholic beverages.
Explore the most scenic and untamed coastline along the Gulf of Roses onboard a restored vessel with a unique history.
