It would be a shame to leave without seeing at least a few of the highlights of Saint Martin like the atmosphere Quartier d'Orléan and the French and Dutch capitals. You’ll visit Philipsburg, capital of the Dutch St. Maarten, where you can stroll along the boardwalk, relax in a sidewalk café, tour some of the historic sites, or browse through shops for last-minute souvenirs. Passing the large Salt Pond and charming Oyster Pond, you’ll cross over to several Kodak moments at look-out points on the French side, and past Grand Case, culinary capital of the Caribbean, to the seaside market in Marigot. Culture enthusiasts will love this colorful outdoor venue filled with tropical fruit, local foods, spices, clothing, artwork and perhaps a few “made in France” products – all duty-free! The market is surrounded by a few French cafés if you need a quick bite before your flight home.
Enjoy your last hours on beautiful St. Maarten, “the friendly isle”, by seeing a little of this tropical paradise.
