In 2017, The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company charted a new course with its sights set on the sea. It would expand its vison of inspiring life's most meaningful journeys with the launch of The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection. The first of three lavish yachts was slated for delivery in late 2019. Its arrival will give new meaning to curated luxury travel.
Itineraries are being designed to combine the lifestyle of The Ritz-Carlton’s luxury resorts with the casual freedom of a yachting vacation. The concept was developed in collaboration with maritime expert Douglas Prothero, who is managing director for the new venture.
At just 623 feet, the yacht's intimate size will allow for exclusive access to coveted destinations not available to larger ships. A relaxed pace that includes leisurely daytime forays ashore as well as overnight stays in port will create an unrivaled luxury travel experience.
